(Ripe) Plantain Millet Waffles
Ingredients:
3 Ripe Plantains
1 tsp pure Vanilla extract
1 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
1 tsp ground Cardamom
1 Tbl Coconut oil (extra virgin and unrefined is best)
1/2 Cup Millet flour
1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt
Method:
Blend the plantain, spices, vanilla, salt, and coconut oil until smooth, then transfer to a mixing bowl.
Fold in the millet flour and combine well.
Get your waffle maker ready and scoop a bit of the batter on (depends on your size waffle maker). Add a sprinkle of hemp hearts (or you can add seeds, nuts, chocolate chips, or raisins)- anything you like.
Serve with your favourite waffle toppings and enjoy!
