'Flavour D Pot'- With 3 Premade Seasonings

Does the thought of always having to chop seasonings and other herbs for flavoring your pots, make cooking feel more like a chore? For me, this task can seem daunting at times. So to make cooking easier and quicker, i've created 3 easy-to-make seasoning recipes that you can keep on hand for quickly adding flavour to your dishes. Trust me! This makes cooking so much simpler. And each seasoning combination has their own unique blend for adding to different style cuisines.


Parsley- Paprika- Garlic Seasoning


Ingredients


  • 1/2 C Garlic Cloves

  • 1/4-1/2 C Fresh Parsley

  • 1/2 tsp Paprika

  • 1/4- 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 C Coconut Oil- I used Simply Natural Cooconut Oil from @cgacaribbean


Method


  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until all the ingredients are incorporated and minced.

  2. Add to a jar or an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.

  3. The coconut oil will solidify in the fridge so you can simply scoop some out add to your pots or leave at room temperature to melt before using.


Tasty Tip: This seasoning is also perfect for spreading on sandwiches or for making garlic bread.


Chive- Pimento- Garlic Seasoning


Ingredients


  • 6 Pimentos

  • 1/4 C Garlic Cloves

  • 1/4 C Chive roughly chopped

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/4 C Coconut Oil- I used Simply Natural Coconut Oil from @cgacaribbean


Method


  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until the ingredients are incorporated and finely minced.

  2. Add to a jar or an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.

  3. The coconut oil will solidify in the fridge so you can simply scoop some out add to your pots or leave at room temperature to melt before using.


Tasty Tip: This seasoning is perfect for making chilis, curries, callaloo and soups.


Hot Pepper Sauce


Ingredients


  • 6 Hot Peppers (you can sub for pimentos or chilis)

  • 1/4 C Garlic Cloves

  • 4-5 Tbl Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)

  • 1/2 C Hot to Boiling Water

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)


Method


  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until all the ingredients are incorporated and minced.

  2. Add to a jar or an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.


Note: This pepper sauce is fully customizable and can be added to your dishes for some extra spice. You can make it as mild or as spicy as you will like. Simply adjust the amount of peppers or substitute hot peppers for pimentos or chilis, or use a combination of both.
